Wedding Gift/Hantaran Shabby Chic

This is our latest “hantaran” creation that we made for Syazwani for her engagement. Initial plan was to find a small box to place the cookies inside since I was a bit worried that the  icing cookies might break when being man handle especially during the ceremony, but sadly, I can’t find the small box that I want, it’s either I can’t get the color or the size was out. Then I thought of making the box myself, but that would add up more cost and not to mention very time consuming too. At the end, I got to scrap the idea and find another that is more practical.

Thank god I found a box wrap with shantung/satin like fabric with small fabric flowers covered the entire lid of the box and it looks very pretty and sweet. So, when I started arranging the cookies inside the box out of sudden an idea popped up in my head and since I still got much time to get the supply needed. I just proceed the idea, with some keychain flowers and knitted lace, I’d finally came out with this shabby chic theme hantaran. Syazwani loved it so much and me too
